This confidential technology company needed a new office and R&D space as they expanded their presence in the U.S. The project included an exterior refresh to the building, as open-format office, kitchen with retractable sliding doors, multiple conference rooms, and two labs: a class-100,000 lab space and a class-10,000 clean room.
The construction of the state-of-the-art clean room involved intesive HVAC infrastructure - and lots of creative problem solving. The GCI team employed laminar flow basics, HEPA filters, and more to create a clean, workable environment, and even built a custom track into the floor to make it easy for lab workers to move heavy equipment.
